Hi, I'm Sam!

​

I am 20 years old and love to watch movies, listen to music, dance, play sports, and hang out with my family and friends. 

​

I am an avid Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers fan.

​

Although I have Down syndrome, I don't let that stop me from living life to the fullest. 

​

I am a proud activist for myself and other individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 

​

I am a Freshman at Edgewood College and a student of the Cutting Edge program. This program is allowing me to pursue my dreams of becoming a paraprofessional educator. It is my hope to work with students with IDD in an early-childhood classroom. 

​

I am connected to many organizations throughout the state of Wisconsin, including Best Buddies Wisconsin, Special Olympics Wauwatosa, The Down Syndrome Associate of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Center for Independence and many more!

I am thankful for all the opportunities that have allowed me to showcase my ABILITIES and for the continued love and support from my family and friends.
